Frankly The Best at Fishers!

After 25 years service and travelling approx 414,000 miles Frank Sherriffs was presented with a watch by his employers and colleagues at Fishers Services in Aberfeldy.

Frank started work in Aberfeldy, 31 May 1983 at the age of 17.  In his early years he was the fastest towel folder in the group, producing over 1000 per hour.  He visited plants in Greenock and Cupar to demonstrate his ability.  No one in the company, at any other plant, has then or now matched this feat.

Surviving several works managers he graduated to linen supervisor.  He has an uncanny knack of knowing where everything is at any time in the laundry, no matter what the production problem is, it is Frank 9 times out of 10 who has a solution to it.

He also has a unique way of communicating with oversear staff and motivating staff (we all think it is the wonderful home baking he does especially his amazing carrot cake) apart from us dedicated Scottish slimmer girls.  Last year Frank was promoted (deservedly so) to linen production manager.  Since then the Aberfeldy plant has gone to higher levels of success.

All of the staff at Aberfeldy wish Frank and his lovely wife Sheila every success and happiness and look forward to him at the helm for the next 25 years.
