Second Phase finishes 25.07

Installation of a Cable from the new Decant Sub-Stn to the existing Sub-Stn in Alma Avenue and completion of the cable diversion at No13 Alma Avenue.

Third Phase

Installation of a new cable along Taybridge Drive to provide Network Reinforcement.

Forth Phase

Disruption

C'llr Ken Lyall said:“ Due to the site's space constraints a decant village has had to be built in the schools playing fields. A part of this work is to ensure sufficient electricity supply and to do that there may be some disruption from Monday 7 July. This is unfortunate butit is vital works and I am pleased that this has been held off until the school summer holidays. I have been assured by Scottish and Southern Electricity that they will undertake the works as quickly - and with as little disruption - as possible.”
