Corporal's Commendation
Corporal Sandie Kennedy, 42, is shown receiving a ‘Commander in Chief’s Commendation’ from the station commander at RAF Leuchars.
Sandie received this award mainly for her voluntary work with “The Bungalow” Day Care Centre in Buckie. She arranged many trips and visits for them including a visit to 14 Squadron, RAF Lossiemouth, where she previously served for four years.
Sandie was born and bred in Aberfeldy and attended Breadalbane Academy. She works as a personnel administrator and has served in the RAF for just over 19 years - involving spells abroad in many countries including Bosnia and The Gulf.
