Putting the FUN back I nto Fundraising

The Friends of Aberfeldy Parklands in conjunction with Perth & Kinross Council are staging “It’s a Knockout” in Aberfeldy’s newly refurbished Victoria Park on Saturday 6 September.

The event is being staged by ‘Graham Fisher’s International It’s a Knockout’, who were the first company 25 years ago to take ex BBC props on the road presenting a touring version of the show.  A professional company, they are vastly experienced in running events like this and offer appropriate insurance and health & safety cover.

So if bouncing along inflatables carrying a bucket of water on your head whilst wearing an unfeasibly large suit sounds like something you’d be good at, and you like winning trophies then get your name down now!

You can either enter a team just for the craic or to raise funds for a good cause of your choice, perhaps a charity or a local community group, it’s up to you.  We can help with fundraising packs too.

There are 2 categories:

•  Adults, age 16+

•  Children, age 10+

   (no under 10s, sorry!)

Teams should have between 6 and 10 players with an absolute minimum of 6 per team. As places for teams are limited, please get in touch as soon as possible to register interest and secure your team’s place.  A waiting list will operate if there are more teams wishing to enter than places available.

Penguins tripping over on spinning discs (remember them?!) or Stuart Hall compering on the day cannot, sadly. be promised, but plenty of laughs are definitely guaranteed.. 

Anyone who wishes to host a stall on the day is also welcome.  It’s free for local people raising money for a community group or charity.  If you’d like to have a stall please get in touch (see above) to book a pitch.
