Young Chef Finalists Cater for Public Diners
On 16 May three Breadalbane Academy pupils will be showing off their culinary skills when they will be cooking and serving their winning recipes at the ‘Inn on the Tay’ in Grandtully for one day only.
The school hosted a ‘Highland chef’ competition for all the S2 pupils last term and one of the many prizes was for the three winners to get the chance to cook their winning dishes in an industrial kitchen and serve it to the public.

The competition was a great success with Grace Smith being the overall winner, Kane Hippersley-Gatherum coming second and Chloe Bennett achieving third place. The judges were Chef Lee Patrick from the Inn on the Tay at Grandtully, Chef Ashley Miles from Fortingall Hotel, Norma Lindsay, the General Manager from the Weem Hotel and Donna Trail from Fayre and Square in Aberfeldy.
To reserve a table for the evening menu, contact the Inn on the Tay on 01887 840760 for reservations.
